Gruesome Anime Attack on Titan Getting a Video Game

on July 9, 2013 7:00 PM

The critically acclaimed anime Attack on Titan – known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin – will be getting a video game adaptation, the series’ producer has revealed. There are currently no details regarding which consoles the game is being developed for, but it will be released sometime in 2014. This was reveal was made at the Anime Expo, which took place in Los Angeles last weekend. Attack on Titan primarily revolves around humans doing battle with giant beings or titans, so I could definitely see the game going in a Monster Hunter or Soul Sacrifice direction.

The anime series is really interesting, so hopefully the game will be good as well. We’ll have more details on the game as they’re revealed.
