Rockstar has announced a free update for GTA Online, the online mode of Grand Theft Auto 5.
Capture – the newest addition to the collection of team-based modes in Grand Theft Auto Online, in now available as part of the latest free automatic update on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. With 20 new Jobs across four unique modes, this GTA twist on classic capture the flag style confrontations brings a whole new level of adversarial action to the world of Los Santos and Blaine County. Strategy plays a huge role as you run decoys, set traps and place obstacles to ensure your enemies don’t get close to your goods. These new Jobs are accessible in Freemode and spread across the four different modes.
The modes are Raid, which is Grand Theft Auto 5’s own twist on capture the flag, with teams attacking bases to steal a package, and deliver them back to your home base for points. Hold, is about collecting and storing as many packages as possible in your home base. GTA, is like capture the flag but instead, you’re capturing a vehicle and returning it to your base. Finally, Contend, which centers around a single vehicle situated in the middle of the map that respawns once a team takes it back to their home base.
According to Rockstar, the update is available now as part of an automatic update for GTA Online, it also includes a host of fixes and dynamic tuning updates.
