Rockstar Games has updated Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode, known as GTA Online, with a winter holiday update called Festive Surprise. The update packs new weapons, gear, vehicles and a couple of updates and fixes into your stocking to enjoy right before the end of the year.

The update allows players to now own a third property, allowing you to potentially own up to 30 cars and nine bicycles. In addition, several new settings have been added including deadzone and acceleration sliders and a first person mode auto level camera on/off setting. Rounding out the fixes are some tweaks to improve matchmaking and connectivity speeds.

As far as stocking stuffers go, players can expect a new homing missile launcher and proximity mines for weapons and four new vehicles in the Hot Rod Christmas Ratloader, Slam Van, Massacro and Jester, that can all be permanently kept. Players can also expect seasonal perks like 'ugly' Christmas sweaters and attire, snowy weather and the ability to participate in snowball fights through January 5th.

Other inclusions in the update are special holiday crate drops that include rare items like vintage t-shirts from past Social Club Event Weekends and free gifts that will be stuffed in your inventory on Christmas Day, December 25th. Together with the other Festive Surprise features, it all wraps up nicely into lovely little package to enjoy through the New Year.
