Grendel Games has announced, Underground, their upcoming game originally designed for surgical doctors-in-training using Nintendo Wii technology is coming to the Wii U eShop on January 8th in Europe for €19,99/£15,99.

Underground is a puzzle game about a little girl named Sari trying to save her butler robot friend, Sw4nk who was sent away to work in the mines after doing an unsatisfying job. Players will travel through an underground while puzzling and building their way up to the surface using imagination and two robotic arms. Each part of the underground cavern features its own threats and opportunities to explore.

The game will consist of four worlds with boss fights, an additional difficulty level, and a specially designed controller for medical trainings; in fact the medical version of the game came with a set of controllers designed to mimic the laparoscopic equipment and surgery motion to a very high degree of accuracy.
