Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus Coming to HD Consoles

on February 17, 2012 7:00 PM

Arc System Works revealed today at the Japanese AOU Amusement Expo that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus would see a digital release for Xbox 360 and PS3. This comes after the news that the game is being released to arcades. This is odd because the game will have moved from the PlayStation 2 (where it originally released in 2008) to arcades and then back to consoles.

The only specific detail mentioned about the console version of the game is that it will include online functionality, a feature that has supposedly been highly requested. Furthermore, the current title of the game is tentative and may be changed before its release.

No other details are available, but since this is the first time the game will be available on PS3 and with online, it is a new release as far as I’m concerned, and that’s exciting. Stay tuned for more details.
