Guitar Hero Live Adds a Taste of The Blues and Modern Rock to the Roster

on February 2, 2016 12:53 PM

Welcome to the weekly Guitar Hero Live update! As many of you know, Wednesday is when Guitar Hero Live gets the lion share of additions to their roster via the Premium Sets. However, due to an upcoming mysterious announcement (likely “Through the Fire and Flames”) coming, it seems like the new list has been pushed up.

For those out of the loop, Premium Sets, which allow you to play select tracks before they are released to the general public a week later, are unlocked through either micro-transaction or completing select songs with qualifying scores. This is what players got this week:

Blues Show

  • Seasick Steve — “Summertime Boy”
  • Stevie Ray Vaughan — “Crossfire”
  • Jack White — “Freedom at 21”

Modern Rock Show

  • Only Real — “Can’t Get Happy”
  • Rival State — “Keepsake”
  • Slaves — “Cheer Up London”

Also, with the advent of new Premium Shows, the old Shows are thrown into the On Demand list and are available for Guitar Hero on demand. Expect to find these in the lineup from last week:

  • Fall Out Boy — “Centuries (Live)”
  • Fall Out Boy — “Irresistable (Live)”
  • Fall Out Boy — “Uma Thurman (Live)”
  • Miles Kane — “Don’t Forget Who You Are”
  • SKATERS — “Miss Teen Massachusetts”
  • The Strokes — “You Only Live Once”
