Guitar Hero Live Adds Irish Flair and Austin Love in This Week’s Premium Sets

on March 15, 2016 2:31 PM

Welcome to the weekly Guitar Hero Live update! As many of you know, Monday-Wednesday is when Guitar Hero Live gets the lion share of additions to their roster via the Premium Sets. Last week’s selections were underwhelming, however the luck of the Irish has brought a solid list of St. Patty’s Day jams and Austin hits for SXSW.

For those out of the loop, Premium Sets, which allow you to play select tracks before they are released to the general public a week later, are unlocked through either micro-transaction or completing select songs with qualifying scores. This is what players got this week:

St. Patrick’s Day Party

  • Flogging Molly – “Drunken Lullabies”
  • Two Door Cinema Club – “What You Know”
  • Ash – “Burn Baby Burn”

Austin Rocks!

  • The Gills – “Rubberband”
  • Worriers – “Most Space”
  • Lyger – “Stroke”

Best of Austin

  • Puppy – “The Great Beyond”
  • Dilly Dally – “Purple Rage”
  • The Family Rain – “What Are You Afraid Of?”

Also, with the advent of new Premium Shows, the old Shows are thrown into the On Demand list and are available for Guitar Hero on demand. Expect to find these in the lineup from last week:

  • Bon Jovi – “Livin’ on a Prayer”
  • Chevelle – “Send the Pain Below”
  • Deap Vally – “Gonna Make My Own Money”
  • Def Leppard – “Pour Some Sugar on Me”
  • Halestorm – “Apocalyptic”
  • Incubus – “Megalomaniac”
  • KISS – “Crazy Crazy Nights”
  • Marilyn Manson – “mOBSCENE”
  • St. Vincent – “Birth in Reverse”
