GWENT: The Witcher Card Game's Update 0.8.37 -- a small update compared to 0.8.33 -- is live on Xbox One and PC, CD Projekt Red has announced.

According to CD Projekt Red, its main goal with this update is to address a handful of important issues that have recently come to light, including the use of Mardroeme to get an auto-win after not choosing a target for the Mutagen card.

The developer goes on to say that (obviously) this is not how it intended for the card to work and was something that required its "immediate attention," because of the effect it was having on ranked play. Players who abused this exploit have already banned.

Other issues adressed include the server errors caused by killing Morkvarg on 2 Strength and playing 3 Reinforced Ballistas and Redanian Elites. CD Projekt Red says these actions should no longer cause the game to desynchronize.

As of right, specific patch notes have not been provided. The Witcher Card Game will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC at an undisclosed date.
