Valve's Half-Life 2 and Portal are two of the most highly-acclaimed first-person titles of the last several years, and now both of them can be played with you on the go in a device that fits in your pocket, thanks to NVIDIA.

A new video comes alongside an announcement from NVIDIA that both Half-Life 2 and Portal are now available to purchase and play for NVIDIA Shield, the company's portable gaming device capable of playing Android-powered games as well as streaming PC games to the device. Both titles are available to play natively on the NVIDIA Shield and available to purchase from Google Play for $9.99 each (the games are only available for Shield though, not for any other Android devices).

Doug Lombardi, Vice President of Marketing at Valve, also mentioned in a press release regarding the release of both titles to NVIDIA Shield:

"NVIDIA has done a remarkable job bringing both Half-Life 2 and Portal to Shield. We're playing both games here on our Shields and fans of both franchises can expect the same gameplay they've come to love on the PC."
