Frictional Games and thechineseroom have arrived just in time to scare the pants off you, causing you to question whether it’s a good idea to venture out of the safe confines of your home this Halloween evening.

The Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs Halloween trailer features for the first time, gameplay footage, and its clearly more of the fright-filled, first person agony we’ve come to expect from Amnesia. A lonely hand, guiding a waning light source, through several dark and murky environments, yup, 2013 can’t come soon enough.

Frictional Games also announced an opportunity for fans to contribute to the game:

We want your fear. Record your screams, your whimpers, your blood curdling shrieks of terror and you could star in Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

We are on the hunt for the sounds of fear, panic, terror, anguish, torture and horrid, awful death to include in the soundtrack for Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

Send them as Wavs, Oggs or MP3s to piggies@thechineseroom.co.uk

We don’t care who does the screaming. We just want the fear

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is a collaborative effort between Frictional Games and thechineseroom, which is expected to arrive in early 2013.
