The upcoming remake Halo 2: Anniversary will release with new content which creates a bridge between the game and Halo 5, executive producer at 343 Dan Ayoub has said.
This new content will come in the form of terminals which unlock new pieces of story to outline Halo 5. They’ll function very similarity to the ones in the first Halo: Anniversary.
If you remember the terminals from the first Halo: Anniversary where you could find and unlock motion comic-style pieces that filled in story for what was going to happen in Halo 4, we’re doing a lot of the same in Halo 2 that are going to start to hint at some things that are coming down the line in Halo 5.
The terminals in Halo 2: Anniversary will mostly focus on The Arbiter, a character first introduced in Halo 2.
You’ll start to get an idea of his history and a little more about him.
Halo 2: Anniversary is set for release November 10 on Xbox One as part of the Master Chief Collection.
