Halo 4 Limited Edition Goes on Sale for Pre-Orders Today

The limited edition for Halo 4  is available for pre-order today at the retail price of $99.99. The game will include the War Games map pack that will allow access to nine maps – three future competitive maps that’ll each include three locations. The download will be available post-launch.

You’ll also be able to receive the ability to unlock six Specializations early that can be used to achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career and unlock customization options. Another bonus will be the  UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet that include a Spartan armor customization schematic, information on UNSC weapons, an introduction to the UNSC ship, Infinity, and what it means to be a Spartan-IV. An added bit of fiction will provide a peek on the indoctrination of Spartans who will be on the ship.

Bonus DLC from Xbox Live will have new weapon and armor skins, plus there will also be the 90-minute live action series, Halo 4: Forward Unto the Dawn. The series will take a look back at the Human/Covenant War when Master Chief inspired the young cadet who would be leader of the Infinity. The extended cut also expands on the characters in the series and a behind the scenes look at the making of.
