The Halo universe has known to be as expansive as it has been thrilling, and with its variety of games, comics, and TV series, the next chapter in the Halo multimedia universe is set to release later this year, and fans will be able to get their first look at Halo: Nightfall in just over a week from now.

In a post on Xbox's news feed detailing their adventures at SDCC 2014, it was revealed that the upcoming series Halo: Nightfall will be making its appearance at the expo with a first look panel. Created and produced by 343 Industries and Ridley Scott, the panel will include "key Halo: Nightfall cast and crew" while also giving fans a behind-the-scenes look into the series' production and story, which is set to revolve around the mysterious new character, Agent Locke, in Halo 5: Guardians.

The Halo: Nightfall panel will be on July 24th, 2014 at 11:45am (PST) in Room 6BCF at the San Diego Convention Center - the Ridley Scott-produced series will also be releasing alongside the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on November 11th, 2014.

San Diego Comic Con 2014 is running from July 24-27, 2014 at the San Diego Convention Center.
