The long-awaited RTS sequel Halo Wars 2 is just around the corner, and fans that can’t wait to dig in and start strategizing will be able to join the launch festivities a little early this week with an official livestream, giveaways, and more from Microsoft tomorrow.
Xbox’s Larry Hryb (aka “Major Nelson”) revealed details of a special livestream event for Halo Wars 2, which will take place on February 16th, 2017 at 4pm PT/7PM ET through Xbox One’s streaming app, Bream, Twitch, Facebook Live, and YouTube. During the stream, tons of gameplay from Halo Wars 2 will be on display while the development team will be on hand to share more insights into the game and its development.
Alongside the stream, prizes and giveaways will also be on hand, including an Xbox One S bundle with Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition, a Halo Wars 2 themed Xbox One controller, a Loot Crate themed after the game, digital copies of the title, and much more.
Halo Wars 2 will release for Xbox One and PC on February 21st, 2017, while those who have pre-ordered the game’s Ultimate Edition will be able to get early access to the title on February 17th, 2017.
