Trion Worlds, who released RIFT in March of 2011, published a Developer’s Diary to showcase some upcoming changes to the game. Studio GM and CCO, Scott Hartsman, speaks on the changes RIFT has seen over its first year.  The speed of updates, customer service and listening to their players are what he believes have largely paid off and will continue to pay off moving into the second year.

Senior UI artist, Alice Lo, speaks on RIFT always looking for innovation. This includes some sneak peeks and concept art into a few new in-game releases, including a look at the free RIFT mobile scratch-off ticket mini-game. This interactive addition gives players a chance to have win in-game prizes. There is also talk of a new 20-man raid and an upcoming open city-type zone. Full video can be seen after the cut.
