Sony Computer Entertainment Connected Content Group’s Hardware: Rivals finally got a release date.
Hardware: Rivals brings its vehicular combat and explosions exclusively to the PS4. Senior Producer Daniel Durnin provided an overview of the game for those who don’t know it.
“For those of you new to the game, Hardware: Rivals is an explosive, over-the-top, vehicle combat game where you pit yourself against other drivers in heavy tanks or fast attack vehicles. Battle online through multiple maps, game modes, challenges, and special events. As you take down your enemies, you will collect bounties for hunting your biggest rivals. You can play as a lone wolf or as part of a team.”
The game is a little different now since October’s Beta trial, since the developers added a new map, called Outpost 92, and two new vehicles, “the Sledgehammer (Tank) and Nomad (FAV).” They also promised more content to come after launch, including maps, vehicles and even new game modes.
Hardware: Rivals releases on January 5th of 2016 exclusively on PS4, and is priced at $19.99/€20.99.
