Harmonix Announces New Rock Band 3 DLC

on January 12, 2015 3:07 PM

After 21 months away, Harmonix announced they are to release a new DLC pack for Rock Band 3.

The new DLC will come with songs from Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters and Avenged Sevenfold and will be compatible with Rock Band Blitz. Each song will be priced at $2 and shall be available for purchase through the Rock Band Music Store tomorrow. European PS3 players will be able to buy the new DLC on January 21st.

The new songs will be added to the huge library which already has over 3,500 tracks from 1,500 artists.

We are unsure on whether Harmonix is planning any more DLC, as this announcement caught us by surprise, as the studio originally announced that they are stopping Rock Band 3 DLC support in April 2013. If any updates come through from Harmonix, we will update this post.
