E3 2010: Harmonix Shows Off Dance Central

MTV Games and Harmonix have a Kinect driven dance game coming for all the dance fanatics out there. Dance Central will be arriving for Xbox 360 this Holiday.

Alex Rigopulos from Harmonix comes out and describes what exactly is happening on stage. Players follow the on-screen dance moves as music that will include tracks from Lady Gaga, No Doubt, and Beastie Boys with downloadable tracks on the way. The title will include 600 different moves and 90 routines. “Break it down mode” will make it for beginners to slowly learn new moves with ease.

Alex mentions that Harmonix always wanted to make a dancing game, but just never had the technology available for the choreography they imagined. With Kinect, now they can.
