HBO Go Streaming App Arrives on PS3, Sony & HBO “Working Diligently” for PS4 Version

HBO Go has been a popular go-to app on Xbox 360 for those with a subscription to the premium cable channel, but now the popular app is no longer restricted to just being on Microsoft’s console.

Announced over on the PlayStation Blog, the HBO Go streaming app is now available to download on PS3 consoles, with the app being free and can be enabled for users with an active HBO subscription in their cable plan. HBO Go provides streaming/on-demand options for users to watch a huge variety of HBO’s content, from original series like Game of ThronesBoardwalk Empire, and True Detective, to their huge selection of movies, documentaries, and more.

HBO and Sony also mentioned that they are “working diligently” to provide PS4 users with a version of the HBO Go app to Sony’s newest console: stay tuned for more details on HBO Go heading over to other consoles and other information.
