Today Blizzard Entertainment revealed the newest expansion for its popular card game Hearthstone.

The expansion, titled Knights of the Frozen Throne, is set to introduce a total of 135 new cards into the game, as well as nine new Hero Cards. Players will be tasked with fighting in the Lich King's Icecrown Citadel. You'll even get the chance to challenge the Lich King himself through a series of free missions.

Blizzard Entertainment also released a brand new trailer for the game, as well as screenshots of some of the new cards you'll come across during your time in the Icecrown Citadel. You can check them out at the end of the article.

Knights of the Frozen Throne is set to release sometime in August, however an exact release date was not revealed. Players will be able to earn the new packs in the game's Arena mode. If that isn't your cup of tea, then you'll also have the ability to purchase them with either in-game gold or with real-world money. These packs will cost the same amount of money as previous expansion packs, which is $2.99. Finally, if you are looking for something a bit more substantial, you'll be able to pre-order fifty packs for $49.99, and if you do so, you'll be given an exclusive card backing.

Hearthstone was originally released on March 11th, 2014, and is available on Windows PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
