As any players of Blizzard’s charming online card game know, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is an incredibly hard addiction to break – luckily, more online card battles will be on the way with a whole new set of cards and more coming in the fabled Blackrock Mountain adventure expansion coming next week.
Developer Blizzard has officially announced that the Blackrock Mountain adventure expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will begin rolling out on all platforms next week. As with the previous expansion The Curse of Naxxramas, the new adventure will be rolled out through five “wings” on a weekly basis, with the first wing to release on April 2nd in the US, followed by a launch on April 3rd for Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
Containing a variety of boss encounters for single-player mode like the previous Naxxramas, Blackrock Mountain will also feature 31 new cards for Hearthstone with two new classes for each of the original nine classes, and also include several notable faces from the World of Warcraft series as villains to compete against.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft‘s latest expansion, Blackrock Mountain, is set to release on April 2nd in the US and April 3rd for Australia, New Zealand, and Europe – the new expansion will release for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, and pre-orders for the new content are currently available now.
