Heavy Rain Director’s Cut Drops Next Week, Packs a Ton of Value

on November 3, 2011 6:00 PM

Heavy Rain was received with wide critical acclaim when it launched early last year. Players praised the game’s deep narrative and daring gameplay decisions. In spite of its almost universally positive reception, the game flew underneath several radars, mine included. If you’ve been meaning to check out this critical jewel, then there’s never been a better time than now.

Today Sony announced via the PS blog the director’s cut of the game. It will include: the game, the Taxidermist DLC, the game’s soundtrack, improved interface with move support, eight “Making Of” videos, three dynamic themes for your PS3, fifteen pieces of concept art and two trailers.

To make this mega-deal even sweeter, you’ll snag the whole bundle for just $30. Now procrastinating gamers like myself have absolutely no reason now to pick up this revolutionary title. Heavy Rain Director’s Cut hits store shelves on November 8th.
