For those who don't know about the game, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was announced by Ninja Theory all the way back at Gamescom 2014, and was heralded by them them as "independent AAA" game, as it is being developed and published independently but has the quality and production values of a AAA game.

The game's story is based off of Celtic and Norse mythology, and documents the personal journey of the titular Senua as she makes her way through a world of psychotic manifestations of her own mind. After years of development, Ninja Theory announced on June 6 that the game would be coming to both PC and PS4 on August 8 for only $29.99. The game also has a pre-order exclusive dynamic theme on PS4.
