If you've been on the comment section of tinyBuild Game's YouTube and Twitter page, you would have seen an endless sea of comments demanding an Alpha 4 for Hello Neighbor. Even if the tweet or YouTube video had nothing to do with Hello Neighbor: fans would still shout about getting an Alpha 4 for the game, despite developer Dynamic Pixels and publisher tinyBuild Games saying no more Alphas were coming. In short, Hello Neighbor is a big deal and it hasn't even released yet. And people want Alpha 4. Well, today tinyBuild announced it is giving the people what it wants. The news came via Twitter where tinyBuild announced that an Alpha 4 will be released on May 4th.

The publisher didn't shed any further details on what will be in the newest Alpha, nor did it accompany it with a new trailer like some of the previous Alphas. When and if more information becomes available, we will be sure to update the post.

Hello Neighbor is currently available on PC via Early Access for $29.99 USD. It is expected to release sometime in Summer 2017 for the same platform. Below, you can view a two second teaser for the new Alpha as well as read an overview of the game.

Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game about sneaking into your neighbor's house to figure out what horrible secrets he's hiding in the basement. You play against an advanced AI that learns from your every move. Really enjoying climbing through that backyard window? Expect a bear trap there. Sneaking through the front door? There'll be cameras there soon. Trying to escape? The Neighbor will find a shortcut and catch you.

  • Suspenseful horror gameplay (not jump scares) that focuses on sneaking around your neighbor's house

  • Constantly evolving experience where the Neighbor's AI counters your moves, and learns from what you do

  • Sandbox-style gameplay with plenty of environmental interaction and physics
