As new entry to the MOBA genre Smite is picking up steam through both its PC and Xbox One versions, developer Hi-Rez Studios is looking for help to test out the game’s servers in its early stages, and luckily the studio is adding in a few incentives to make its test run period even more appealing to players.
In a new post on the official website for Hi-Rez Studios, the developer is seeking help from players to help with the game’s alpha load test on the Xbox One version – in exchange for the assistance, Hi-Rez will be offering players the chance to play as the full selection of characters by unlocking all Gods, and also offering up to 600 Gems in in-game currency.
Hi-Rez Studios detailed that players can earn Gems over the weekend by winning their first Match of the Day in each of the three modes that offer daily challenges – by doing so on both today and Sunday, players can earn up to 600 Gems.
In addition to the unlocked characters and Gems, players in Smite this weekend will also have the opportunity to purchase the special Feaster Bunny Bakasura skin in celebration of Passover and Easter this weekend – players can purchase the skin for 400 Gems, but only for this weekend.
Smite is currently available for PC, with the Xbox One version of the title expected to release in 2015 – if you’re interested in helping with load testing the Xbox One version’s alpha, click here to jump in on the action.
