Here Are Some New Screens of Hard Reset’s Extended Edition For You to Admire

We’ve got some brand-spanking new screens from Kalypso Media and Flying Wild Hog’s upcoming Hard Reset: Extended Edition, the retail release and expansion of last year’s digital-download-only title. This time around, Captain Major Fletcher will have five more stages to trundle through and two new survival mode levels, adding another two hours of content to the original game.

Extended Edition will also include a bit more of a backstory so you get a better idea of the war for humankind being waged in Bezoar. One thing that sets the title apart from its first-person-shooter brethren is that instead of an array of weapons, your assault and plasma rifles are upgradeable so they can take on different functions. We have the full gallery of new screenshots for you after the jump.

Hard Reset debuted on Steam last September and its retail expansion hits stores this March. The original was known for its unrelenting difficulty and cyberpunk sensibility, so expect Extended Edition to literally be all that and more. Once again, the title will be available for the PC only with an MSRP of $29.99.
