Fans have spent the last week casting their votes for the character they want to see as DLC in Skullgirls. The first round of voting has concluded and the top 16 most popular characters have been isolated from the 31 potential fighters. The top 16 most requested characters - in alphabetical order - are as follows: Aeon, Annie, B. Dahlia, Beowolf, Brain Drain, Eliza, Feng, Isaac, Marie, Minette, Molly, Panzerfaust, Scythana, Stanley, Umbrella and Venus.

Notice that every character who was demonstrated in one of the prototype videos has made the cut. This seems to have provided something of an unfair advantage - as I'd previously assumed it would - although I'm happy with all of the characters, so it doesn't really bother me. Eliza, Dahlia and Annie all made the cut, so my picks are still in the running. I'm kind of unhappy to see that Stanley made it, though.
