Here’s What Driveclub’s Mirages Look Like on PS4: Just When You Thought it Couldn’t Look Any Better

Today’s patch to Driveclub added mirages to the game’s already impressive visual suite, but what do they look like?

We set out to take a few screenshots to show you the new feature, if you’re unfamiliar with the phenomenon.

Check out the screenshots below, and towards the horizon you’ll see the road looking like it’s covered in water, reflecting the environemt around it. That’s exactly what a mirage looks like, and while it’s a subtle detail, it adds a further degree of visual realism to an already stunning game.

It’s certainly rare to see a game not only getting patched with new features, but also improving its graphics constantly as Driveclub is doing. It makes you wonder what Evolution Studios will accomplish with it in the future, and what kind of visuals we can expect from their next game.
