Take a Look at the Full Schedule of Tonight’s VGX Awards (UPDATED)

on December 7, 2013 2:10 PM

Trying to figure out if Spike TV’s annual videogame award show is worth watching tonight? Well we’ve got the broadcast’s  live schedule right here!

Aside from a couple of secret announcements, it looks we will be getting a better look at some next year’s hottest games. I’m hoping that the Tomb Raider announcement is for a sequel and I’m pretty sure that Titanfall exclusive look will make me giggle with excitement.

Update: the post has been updated with convenient links to all the relevant content (including all the videos with the trailers and live demos) showcased at the event.

Pre-Show
Get an exclusive look at Thief – The VGX Preshow kicks off with a trip to Eidos Montreal to get a look at the next installment of the Thief franchise.

Hour #3

VGX will be streamed across Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Twitch, iOS and Android devices, and available globally on VGXLIVE.com tonight at 6PM eastern. Spike TV will also air highlights of the show as ‘VGX Replay’ on Monday December 9 at midnight.

VGX is trying a new format for this year’s awards show by including more meaningful content like interviews and exclusive looks at some big titles like Bungie’s Destiny or Double Fine’s Broken Age.

Anyone want to guess at what the two secret premieres are? My money is on a next-gen Batman game and some sort of  Star Wars game. I’m curious to see what games Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime willing demoing on stage tonight. Super Smash Bros, anyone? Finger’s crossed.
