As the release of Sony's Vita draws near, Capcom wanted to remind us that, yes, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is appearing on the handheld. And it's coming launch day. To be precise, the game is shipping Feb. 15, the same day the Vita First Edition bundle is available. To set the game apart from its console counterparts, Capcom's introduced touch-screen and NEAR functionality to give the game an extra bit of kick.

If you don't have the $39.99 to shell out for Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 at launch, you can still beat Zero to a pulp as She Hulk with your Vita -- the handheld can act as a controller for the PS3 version of the game. You just can't take it with you. Check out the gameplay trailer after the jump.
