Player housing has always been a big deal in MMORPGs, that's why it always generates a sizable amount of buzz when it gets implemented in a game that was previously lacking in that department.

Today is the turn of Champions Online to let it's players find a place to call home, with the implementation of Hideouts. Each gold  member (players that pay a monthly fee) will be able to select one account-wide hideout for free, while silver members (free players) will have to shell-out 500 Atari Tokens (little more than six dollars or five euros) in order to get their own little batcave.

With today's release, four hideouts are available: the Sci-Fi Moon Base, the Industrial Cave, Mom's Basement and the Mystic Sanctum. While players don't have the ability to fully furnish and decorate their hideout, there are several customization options available, alongside access to a personal tailor and crime computer.

If you're curious, and want to see a more detailed description and more pictures of each hideout, you can go to Champion Online's official site.
