Hideki Kamiya Calls Naysayers “Idiots”, Doesn’t Own a Wii U, Thinks American Devs are Great

Bayonetta 2 Supervisor and The Wonderful 101 Director (not to mention legendary game developer) Hideki Kamiya is well known for not sugarcoating what he thinks, especially with those that tend to bother him a bit too aggressively on Twitter.

Today he brought it to a new level when pressured about game length compared to price, and bared his fangs ready to pounce, encouraging “idiots” that don’t like what his studio offers to simply avoid purchasing it:

He also explained in an quite sarcastic way why he doesn’t own a Wii U despite working on Wii U exclusive titles published by Nintendo:

But he had something positive to say as well, specifically about American developers:

That’s a quite sweet thing to say, especially after some rather heated outings, but one thing is for sure: whether you like the man or not, you have to appreciate someone able to be this candid in an industry often made of smoke and mirrors.
