Metal Gear Solid Creator Hideo Kojima and PS4 Lead Architect Mark Cerny have been on a trip to research the latest technology applied to video games, and after visiting Sucker Punch yesterday, today they are at Sony Bend.

Apparently the folks at Sony Bend gave Kojima-san and Cerny a presentation made of a whopping 276 slides. Talk about attention to detail.

Located (as the name suggests) in Bend, Oregon, Sony Bend is currently working on a PS4 game that is still shrouded in mystery. Basically all we know for sure is that it utilizes Epic’s Unreal Engine 4. Other elements have been hinted by career opportunity ads, but no further solid information was officially announced.

We can only guess on what Kojima-san and Cerny are checking out at Bend’s headquarters, but considering that the studio has been working with Unreal Engine 4 for a long time, they’re probably the studio at Sony with the deepest expertise on Epic’s middleware.

Also, the folks at Bend Studio have branded beer mugs. How cool is that?

Below you can see the pictures shared by Kojima-san in full resolution, giving us a glimpse on one of Sony’s less known studios.
