Todai Hideo Kojima teased a new video he’s preparing to showcase the features of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, focusing on the Mother Base.

Here’s a translation (excluding a part in the first two tweets in which he talks about the already released videos in 1080p/60 FPS):

“Preparing an actual gameplay video of “MGSV” (played by Mikami-san) of the mother base. It’s a walkthrough of how large MB can be. What are the benefits? It’ll introduce that. It will come at Gamescom”

“The third video will focus on the growth of the mother base over time. It will also introduce the online gameplay (FOB).”

“During the sound check of “MGSV TPP” actual gamplay video third part “GC2015 PLAY DEMO”. After this, we’ll do the MIX. First of all, we’ll do the English audio commentary version. It will be released to the public next week, during Gamescom.

Kojima-san also shard a picture of the base, and it does indeed look huge:

“This is us in the new house (home)”

We also get to see a brand new arm for Snake:

“I took a picture directly from the screen. What is this?”

Mind you, if you’re a Zone of the Enders fan, you’ll probably find the logo on the arm rather familiar, not to mention the colors.

Personally, I can’t wait to see the video, especially considering that the Mother Base is probably my favorite feature of the game.
