Late last night during the Academy Awards, legendary director Guillermo del Toro took home the best of the best: the Oscar for Best Picture and Best Director for his fantasy film The Shape of Water. And while he wasn't actually there in person, one of his friends, legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima, congratulated him on his success which is pretty standard procedure, however, when he did, we also got a new look at del Toro's character in the highly anticipated Death Stranding. The tweet and picture, which you can check out of the end of the article, doesn't reveal anything mind-blowing, in fact, it's pretty much the same pose we've seen of him in the past, however, the lighting and the location of the shot seem to be different. Only time will tell what context this screenshot is in.For those that don't know, Death Stranding also stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Troy Baker, and Emily O'Brien. In it...well, we don't really know. Not much about the title has been revealed, aside from a few very ominous and mysterious trailers. As of the time of this writing, it's unknown when Death Stranding will be launching, however, we do know that whenever it does launch, it will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4.
