Hideo Kojima Shows Off Metal Gear Rising’s Black Raiden

Last week famed game maker Hideo Kojima tweeted about how much he’s enjoying Platinum Games’ Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. He also shared an image of black Raiden, a revamped version of the game’s protagonist. Today Kojima-san has uploaded a couple more screens of black Raiden. Here we can see that he’s sporting a classy orange colored mask. He looks so cool!

Furthermore, Konami has explained the distinction between the black and white versions of Raiden. Players start the game as white Raiden, but once a supposed villain named Samuel Rodriguez puts the hurting on him something awful, he’s modified and rebuilt as the superior black Raiden. I can’t wait to see just what he can do with that fancy suit.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available in North America on February 19th.
