Hideo Kojima Talks About His Tech Research Trip, The Human Side of Games and… His Beard

After months of silence following the divorce with Konami, legendary Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has become much more talkative on social media, and today he talked about the game technology research trip he is currently on together with PS4 Lead Architect Mark Cerny, and the human side of games.

Those are surely deep thoughts, and personally found the images of Kojima-san’s trip quite heartwarming. It’s nice to see developers coming from completely different cultures connecting and sharing ideas and technology.

Incidentally, Kojima-san also shared the final results of the poll that he launched yesterday on whether he should shave his new beard or not. Apparently, manly Kojima wins the day. I’m sure no one is really surprised.
