Today, Mistwalker Boss and Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi presented a few new characters that are going to be introduced in his mobile JRPG Terra Battle.

The characters were showcased via the artwork of the three forms they can take on when evolving through the game, and as usual they look fantastic. Alongside a pretty addictive gameplay and a great soundtrack, lovely artwork is definitely one of Terra Battle‘s strong points.

At the bottom of the post you can check out all the artwork gathered in a gallery, alongside the video in which Sakaguchi-san introduced it all.

Terra Battle is the tenth game created by Mistwalker since its foundation in 2004, following Sakaguchi-san’s departure from Square Enix. The studio is currently working on the yet unrevealed console version of the game and on an unannounced game in collaboration with Silicon Studio (even if they could actually be the same thing).

Recently, Terra Battle hosted crossover events with Mobius Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy XV, marking what appears to be a rekindling of the relationship between Sakaguchi-san and his former employers at Square Enix.
