While the announcement of a mobile version of the popular Hitman series might have initially been groan-worthy, the stealth-action series took an unexpected turn last year with the debut of Hitman Go, and quickly became one of the series’ most acclaimed titles for its unique take on the adventures of Agent 47 – luckily, the popular mobile title is shuffling onto new platforms this week.

After its release last year on iOS and Android, Hitman Go is now available to purchase and play on both Windows Phone and Windows 8.1-capable PCs, with the title available for $4.99 (£2.99 UK, €4.49 Europe) for access to both the Windows Phone and PC versions of the title.

Hitman Go is available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and PC (Windows 8.1) – click here to head over and grab the newly-released Windows Phone/Windows 8.1 version of the popular mobile game right now.
