Sega showed off new gameplay from the their upcoming action game Hokuto Ga Gotoku, coming to PlayStation 4 on February 22 in Japan.

The gameplay shows the main protagonist Kenshiro as walks around his village and enters a few skirmishes. Does it look kinda familiar? Well that might be because the game uses the Yakuza Kiwami engine. However, it's been said by Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi that the this is not a copy and paste job of the Yakuza series, as there will be plenty of elements that are original to Hokuto Ga Gotoku.

Hokuto Ga Gotoku is based off the anime and manga series Fist of the North Star. The game will feature Kenshiro as his fiancee Yuria is kidnapped by Shin and believed to believed to be dead.

Furthermore, having incredible power, Kenshiro is believed to be a villain by some and is even imprisoned by the city of Eden. However, this isn't even the one of the bigger story arches as a man named Kyohou is countlessly attacking the city of Eden which is growing closer and closer to be conquered.

Seems like Kenshiro has a lot to deal with, but there's always time to run around the streets and get into some fights.
