For Honor Season 3 will begin on August 15 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Ubisoft announced and is titled Grudge & Glory.

Season 3 will include new heroes, maps, gear, ranked play, a new legendary gear rarity, a max reputation increase for all heroes to 40, and gameplay updates. The two new heroes, Highlander and Gladiator, will be available for free to Season Pass holders on August 15. Everyone else will be able to unlock them in-game beginning on August 22 for 15,000 Steel.

The two new maps are Sentinel and Viking Village, both of which will have their own deadly environmental element to help keep players on their toes. Unfortunately, no word was offered on what those elements might be.

Additionally, Season 3 will introduce 1v1 duel tournaments, letting you compete in tournaments and win exclusive rewards. Competitive play will expand later this year with 4v4 ranked modes.

When Season 3 begins on August 15, you’ll need to download For Honor update 1.11 to access all of the new content. Prior to that, further Season 3 details will be revealed on August 12 at 11am PT/2pm PT on Twitch.

Recently, former For Honor Creative Director Jason VandenBerghe left his position to join ArenaNet and also, Ubisoft revealed its plan with updating For Honor for the foreseeable future.
