Hori Announces Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Arcade Sticks

Lots of new fighting games means lots of new arcade sticks and peripheral maker Hori is proving this with their ongoing announcements of new fight sticks. Though it will be a tad bit late, they’ve announced an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 fight stick. They’ve reused promo art for the game (some of which is extremely old) which makes the art design come off pretty underwhelming, but as long as the stick functions then this is an afterthought. It should function pretty well too, since its made from “high quality” Sanwa parts.

As if this wasn’t enough, Hori is also hard at work on a BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend fight stick. The clean artwork features the game’s only confirmed new character, Relius Clover, as well as a handful of others. I think the choice of colors and minimalist approach with the characters makes this stick look rather classy, though I’m not sure if that makes it worth a whopping $160.

Both the UMVC3 stick and the BB:CSE stick will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3. The BB stick drops on December 17th in Japan and can be pre-ordered now from Play-Asia. There are no pricing or release details for the UMVC3 stick. Hit the break for pics.
