Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are two of the best open world games of this generation, if not the best, and developers Guerrilla Games and CD Projekt RED paid homage to each other on Twitter.

CD Prokjekt RED opened the dance yesterday, with a tweet congratulating Guerrilla, including artwork featuring The Witcher protagonist Geralt of Rivia and Horizon heroine Aloy engaged in a hearty high-five.

Guerrilla Games followed up today, with more art showing an adorable view of Aloy and Geralt having fun with some friendly competition.

It’s always fun to see developers paying respect to each other like this, and we shouldn’t forget that quite a few developers who worked on The Witcher series moved on to Guerrilla as the Dutch developer geared up to tackle the open world RPG genre with Horizon Zero Dawn.

You can check out both pieces of artwork in full resolution below, and if you’re not familiar with the games involved, you can read our reviews of Horizon Zero Dawn and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Only one question remains. Can Geralt handle Aloy?
