Capcom has announced a forthcoming update for its recently released action title Resident Evil 6. This update will be available for free and will bring a number of changes to the zombie game, which was initially met with largely lukewarm reception. Firstly, the update will address issues cited with game’s camera by allowing players to manually adjust the camera in new ways. Capcom has released some screenshots to demonstrate this new feature and they can be viewed below.
Furthermore, the update will also enable the ability to play the game with the English voice track while reading subtitles from a non-English language. Ada Wong’s campaign, which I’ve heard is one of the best in the game, will now be available from the beginning (it needed to be unlocked initially) and will feature optional co-op multiplayer. Finally, the update will introduce the “No Hope” difficulty setting, which will be the most challenging setting yet.
This free update will be available for both versions of Resident Evil 6 sometime in December, though I can’t say exactly how far it will go in making the game less crappy.
