Hyperdimension Neptunia MK-2 Gets an Oddly Memorizing New Video and DLC

on October 6, 2011 7:00 PM

If you thought the premise of the Hyperdimension Neptunia games was weird, you’re right. But it’s brilliant at the same time. However, the folks over at Compile Heart are kind of crazy, so today they released a video that sees Neptune and Nepgear dancing side-by-side. These two characters are actually sisters in the game world, which makes it even more cray cray.

In addition to that video, it was also announced that the game will get two more downloadable characters – one based on Nihon Falcom (Legend of Heroes, Ys) and one based on Cave (Espgaluda, DeathSmiles). Cave, as you know, is one of the only hardcore developers of shoot ‘em up titles lately. Thus, her special attack rains bullets down on the enemies, which is rather fitting. Hit the break to check out the video.

Hyperdimension Neptunia MK-2 is already out in Japan, of course, and set for a North American release by NIS America in the early part of next year.
