The lovingly-named “May the Fourth Be With You” is the annual day where fans all over celebrate the Star Wars universe with references to everyone’s favorite galaxy far, far away everywhere, and the recently-released bread simulator I Am Bread is taking things one step further in a new update made especially for today.

A new trailer on the official I Am Bread YouTube channel has heralded the arrival of an update coming today to the title for free, bringing its titular heroic toast out of the kitchen and into space with Starch Wars: A New Loaf, an update that turns the game into a hilarious space simulator.

Featuring I Am Bread-ified versions of classic ships and terms from the Star Wars universe, I Am Bread: A New Loaf pits the rebel bread fleets against “Dough Baker” and his fleet of “Rye Fighters” in an intergalactic struggle against…well, I’ll just let you read the rest of the description for it below:

“Following the destruction of the Petrol Station, the remaining crumbs of the rebellious fleet have been intercepted as they head to the planet of All-dough-naan. A lone freedom fighter with the call sign Bread Leader picks up the distress signal and speeds to their aid. And yep, you guessed it; he’s their only hope.”

I Am Bread is available on PC and Mac, with the A New Loaf update available today for free – you can check out its official trailer and some screenshots from the Star Wars-inspired update below:
