Do not be fooled by the headline: regardless of what Wal-mart says, HD re-releases of either ICO or Shadow of the Colossus have not been confirmed by their publisher Sony Computer Entertainment, or their developers Team ICO.

That having been said, Wal-Mart is offering pre-orders for, and I quote, "ICO/Shadow of the Colossus (PS3)". They have the price listed at $40 and a release date for April 1st, 2011. Again this is not official, but is possibly a leak of information, which sounds as music to the legions of ears who have prayed for this.

As always, never trust incomplete or questionable information. In other words, I’d hold off on that pre-order for the time being. With the Tokyo Game Show in full swing this week, expect to hear more about this possible leak in the next few days.
