N7 Day (a play on words with November 7th), the official holiday for the Mass Effect franchise began today, celebrating the six-year old franchise and its fans. Both the BioWare Montreal Studio Director, Yanick Roy, and veteran Producer Michael Gamble tweeted pictures of the game's development process.

In Mr. Gamble's picture, you can see the game being played with an Xbox 360 controller. The image of a character - possibly the new protagonist - can be made out, standing in a room filled with sunlight. Mr. Roy's picture depicts what seems to be one of the game's artists working on what seems to be either a Turian-like character, or a helmeted humanoid character. Different types of what seem to be arm equipment can be seen on the left.

The BioWare staff is continuing to tweet out more images, forcing the fan-base to take part in some quite enjoyable detective work. The latest from Gary Stewart has been added below. We will continue to add others as they come out.

Mass Effect 4 is being developed by BioWare Montreal and will be published by Electronic Arts presumably for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the images and the "Thank You" video below.
