In Space We Brawl recently launched with all its couch co-op goodness on PS4 and PS3, and today I had a chat with Forge Reply Business Development Manager and Developer Alessandro Mazzega at Milano Games Week.

Alessandro explained that porting the game to PS4 was super-simple, partly because it’s made in Unity and also because PS4 is a “great platform,” and the first time they launched the game on the console at the studio it ran at 680 frames per second. They had to limit it because it was unplayable. He also added that for a 2D game like In Space We Brawl the console is maybe even too powerful.
I don’t think I ever saw anything run at 680 frames per second… It’d quite possibly give me an instant epileptic attack.
