I have a soft spot for really well done collector's editions of video games. Something just gets me excited about awesome statues, great artbooks, steel cases and whatever other fun items developers decide to pack on in. Though it is early yet, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has made a pretty solid case for having one of the best collector's editions of 2015 already.

The Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number collector's edition became available for purchase earlier today on iam8bit store, and comes with an album featuring three vinyl records in a stunning tri-fold jacket with art done by Niklas Åkerblad. The three-disc album features 28 select tracks from the game's soundtrack, including songs by M|O|O|N, El Huervo, Perturbator, Megadrive and Magic Sword. The set also includes a custom phone card with a digital download code for Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and the full digital soundtrack for Steam.

It's a pretty impressive piece to own, especially with the vinyl's coming in the games psychedelic bright green, aqua and purple colors. For only $60, it comes in at a pretty reasonable price too, costing as much as most brand new retail games. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is set to release on PS3, PS4, PS Vita and PC sometime in Q1 2015.
